Finviz is a must-have for market data!

Unlike some sites, Finviz has awesome market performance visualizations. I love the Correlation Tracker; it's so helpful. The annual Elite subscription discounts are easy to find.

Got the Elite subscription

So I finally got the Finviz Elite subscription. I mostly use it for the heatmaps and checking out sector performance. It's pretty neat how you can visualize everything. Setting it up was quick, just signed up on their site. No issues at all, it's pretty straightforward. Glad I went for it.

Elite plan good for screening

I purchased the Finviz Elite annual plan last month. The Stock Screener and custom filters were my main draw, and they've been solid. Data export works well, which is helpful for my personal spreadsheets. Real-time quotes are there, though sometimes it feels like a very slight delay, maybe a second or two. Customer support answered a question about portfolio tracking limits within a day, which was efficient. I haven't tried the backtesting tool extensively yet, but the charting tools are comprehensive. Overall, the platform is robust, and navigation is intuitive once you get used to the layout. It's a significant step up from the free version, especially for more active analysis.

Solid data, some quirks

I renewed my Finviz Elite subscription recently. The fundamental analysis data and technical indicators are quite good, and the stock comparison tool is useful. The market performance visualizations are also a plus. However, I noticed that the news aggregator, while decent, sometimes pulls very old articles. It's not a deal-breaker, but it could be more current. Value-wise, it feels fair for what it offers, especially compared to some pricier alternatives. Delivery of the service is immediate, of course, being online. I had one minor login hiccup, but it resolved itself after a few minutes.
